Hi...I switched my video-cam from 1080i to 1080p. It bumps it from 30 fps (frames per second) to 60 fps. Should have done that before. It took me this long to realize that 1080i was not getting it done on things with a lot of movement. Now that I have improved the steadiness and sound, this should be a lot better on the visual part of the video!

1080p and 60 fps here on out! I am convinced 1080i does not get it done. Everything I am aiming at is moving. The highest quality is needed because of the H.264 video compression for youtube.

Progressive Scanning vs Interlaced Scanning Oh my. I realized my camera setting was meaning the flip ultra hd was set at a higher quality than my cam! Best is 1 and least quality is 3.
1 - 1080p HD (my new setting, 60fps)
2 - 720p HD (flip with 60fps)
3 - 1080i HD (30 fps, what I have been shooting)

1080i bad --- 1080p good 1080i bad --- 1080p good, that is exactly correct. Progressive scanning has double the information, and not the 540 lines at a time that 1080i delivers.
