Public Beach Areas in the Florida Keys
You can swim here, just do not venture very far from the shore and it gets deep fast, really fast. What a great spot for a private beach party. The big giant boats cruise right by the shoreline and are fun to watch. The glass bottom boat ride, sunset catamaran, and the Tortuga party boat all park in the Key West Bight Marina in the historic Seaport, which is right around the corner from this beach park. Be sure to eat some conch chowder on your vacation, this is a Key West island tradition!
