The city of Sanibel is the place to get your juices going and every evening is cocktail time. We loved our stay at Shell Island and would recommend it highly for a week of play along the beach. Everything is close by and you can even walk to food spots and shopping. Bring your fishing poles for sure as just across the street is the fabulous Sanibel Island Fishing Pier. Even if you don't fish, this is a great Sanibel Attraction.
