Some places just seem to have all the good stuff conveniently located in close proximity. Here you get all the things one could ask for in a waterfront beach park in Florida. We like to use the kayak launching area, plus they have so shallow in the bay it is a boat ramp too. Fish bait, picnic tables, and a long beach shoreline. Fishing is huge, it might be the star of the show here in Nokomis Beach.

We enjoy the grilled seafood!
Red Snapper is what everyone wants to catch, when the season is open. Boaters go for the Amberjack and Grouper. I enjoy the whole vibe over here. Nokomis and Sarasota are so good about seafood restaurants, we love grilled goodies.
