Things to see and do on the Island
Believe me, the bartenders here know a lot as well. This is usually where we go first. The people of Key West are so friendly, and everybody will offer you some advice if you are tipping! No kidding, the Cigar Guy at the Schooner Wharf Bar wanted a tip just because we took a picture in his general direction. We love this town, the unique things like this are what gives it so much character.

Bicycles are the key to Trips on the Island
I have noticed quite a bit of disparity between what people think is important for your hotel down in Key West. Some people think you have to live in old town to make it really eventful. However, I have had good luck at hotels all around the city. The key is to have a scooter or a bicycle and it really doesn't matter if you are one or 2 miles away. The little back roads around the city are so fun to explore.
