Which Part of the Island to Stay

You do not need to stay down at zero Duval to have an excellent vacation in Key West. Personally, anywhere on the island will do. Obviously, it will take you more time to travel from the northern end of the island (which has less attractions). This is one of the reasons why we chose the Best Western. The Hotel is centrally located just off Main Street Key West. What a pleasure to be so close to everything.

Best Months for the Florida Keys
This hotel is excellent and took my mind away from the reality of winter for awhile. Try January or February, the weather is lovely down in the southernmost point! Hello to all my bar drinking friends.

Most Hotels will negotiate when slow
Don't look at the prices on the website. You can call and negotiate them way down during midweek, summer, non-festival times. The prices are much lower than what is quoted on the website.
