Hotel Cancellation Policy is Ridiculous
Stopped in to review the hotel before booking. It is clean and the staff let us look at a room. All was good. I like this town a lot. However, after we left I started to review the rate sheet. The cancellation policy is poor, saying you must cancel 21 days ahead to get a full refund. That is no good, since Red Tide or Storms can force one to cancel at the last moment. Marriott lets you cancel with full refund up to 6pm on the day you are supposed to check in. We are now looking at Madeira Beach instead.
