Be Aware of the Captiva Parking
The Cantina is a good one for Mexican-style nachos, burritos, and margaritas. You have a lot of good options for dining in the area, which is a big plus for such a small island. The problem is Captiva did not plan for proper parking. The city failed for the years to address the problem, which directly affects business profitability and walk up traffic. At least be aware, so you will not be disappointed if you have to turn around and head back to Sanibel. If you do the Lazy Flamingo on the left is fantastic.
