CALOOSAHATCHEE RIVER
Boating life is special on the Caloosahatchee River
Everyone that lives in Cape Coral knows all to well how special the Caloosahatchee River is to all, especially the local boaters of Fort Myers and Sanibel-Captiva. The river delivers fresh water down from the Everglades, and is vital to the nourishment of marine life. There are boat ramps every few miles or so, making it easy to dump in the boat. The Cape Coral Yacht Club Ramp puts you most near the beaches, only topped by the Punta Rassa Ramp in Fort Myers by the bridge to the beach.
