We can only say good things about the beaches of Captiva and Sanibel Island. Everything is so clean and natural, which makes it excellent for beach walks and watersports. We stayed at the South Seas Resort, that is how we found this secret beach park. While there are no beach facilities, it is only a short walk to the Captiva Provisions Market and Deli.

Trips to the Island are Great Captiva is one Southwest Florida's best kept secrets. It is something like a charming Old-Florida island or fishing village. Walk the streets and go inside a bunch of art stores and gift shops. Take your pick of casual beach dining restaurants with local seafood.
