We like siesta and longboat key for the boating. Mostly, we put the boat in over there at Coquina Beach to the north, but do like the boat ramps at Ken Thompson Park. You really get fast access to the gulf, and there are so many boater friendly restaurants along the intercoastal water ways. That is a neat part of boating around longboat key.
