Good for all ages, this is no longer just for those with children. The park has really grown up, using profits and donations to modernize and add much more flare. Do know, this is not an Orlando big money theme park. Very relaxing, limited lines, and not so high roller coasters!

Fun times on a different scale than Disney
Make sure your expectations are set accordingly. This is a community park and has some nice animals, along with a few shows. Do not expect a Disney day. Perfect for a family that has a kid or two. Not even close to Disney World.

When is the best time to go to the Tampa zoo?
If you have small children, this is the ticket for a fun day trip. Do pick a nice day that is comfortable because you are walking around outside. During the winter is really good because the animals like the cool air and will show themselves regularly to the visitors.
