What's a good day trip for Tampa?
For people in Tampa, the best daytrip is easily over to Clearwater Beach. We live over in West Tampa and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the beach. You can't beat the grilled seafood and sunsets. Try Frenchy's for a really good restaurant and it is right on the beach.

Close by is the Hyde Park Village and Historic District, a neat mix of shopping, bars, restaurants, and a multi-screen cinema. Just a small part of the many things to do in Tampa.

Where are some good areas for Tampa day trips?

Things are really nice if you cruise around on the bicycle. Take your time and you can find all of the neat restaurants and bars in the area. Explore everything during the day and set your plan for the hotspots for nightlife. It's a very diverse zone and highly focused on beautiful condominiums in residential homes.
