Our top pick has a nice story behind its origin and future too. We stay every year or two for weekend getaways. It was always excellent, but is much better now. Upgrades inside, another pool, more live music, and extra amenities keeps it nicely it the best spot!

Hotel occupancy is low this time of year
October is a good time of year to hit the beach as summer is not over yet here in Florida. One of the best things are hotel pricing this time of year. It's a great area for fun because of the attractions, seafood dining, and beach bars.

Lots to see along the Scenic Shoreline
Is really fun to hang by the pool or the beach and see all kinds of the crazy toys people use these days. Even the kites are dynamic and go flying up and down and zooming around. People ride on contraptions along the shoreline like a mini airplane using a lawnmower engine. It's a fun place.
