Ideas for outdoor weekends in St. Petersburg?
The park system in Pinellas is excellent, we like the ones with a wooden tower that extends above the tree line. Nothing beats the high up views of the nature and shorelines. Also, Crescent Lake is close and easy. Northshore Park has the tennis courts with the water view.

The best beach town in Florida?
We are addicted to the shoreline and love beach bars. You have to go out and see treasure island, as that is a small little community city and is loaded with beach bars within walking distance of each other. Is the closest thing to Key West, we love that little beachtown.
