Living near the beach is the ticket!
If you look at the population of Lee County, everything is along the shoreline or within three or 4 miles. That's is where all the density of the residential housing is because it's the best place to live. Whenever you only have to drive 10 minutes to get to the beach you are in heaven!

We really enjoy the water here. We go down the shoreline by walking and on our beach cruisers. It is a great way to explore more unique parts of the Ft. Myers Beach. Getting away from the main parking lot will show off the little things that make the island so neat.
