Heading out for a Day of Boating!
Boating is a very popular activity and with enough fuel you can get just about anywhere. Many people that live here go down to Key West for the weekends and anchor off the shore. You have to have a big boat for that, but you'd be surprised it's only about 3 hours drive time on a nice day.

We came here to take advantage of the easy boat access, you can buzz from the ramp to Boca Grande in about thirty minutes. It is a heck of a ride and you see so much nature on the way. Pine Island, Captiva, and Cayo Costa are all easy for a nice boating day.
