The more natural areas for beach day are way better than the ones with all the hotels and buildings. If you are in a hurry, just head over to the Oceanfront and use any of the free beach access parking lots. But for a more eventful and better sightseeing beaches and waterways, we would vote for Huguenot. Busy on the weekends, but wide open during the Monday to Friday weekday period.
