Island Life is just our Style
We like being an adventurer, but this is not backwoods camping. You are on an island, and you get to camp out. The St. Pete Beach area is great, plus the excitement of being outdoors on the waterfront. This is the sunset side, yes camping out with a free sunset celebration! It is a lot more than sleeping under the stars. This is camping, island style. If you need a hotel room, go with the Don Cesar.

North Beach is Top Rated
I saw that the Fort Desoto North Beach is a top-10 rated beach. It was on the travel channel tv program. They raved over the beach and sand there.

We were so impressed with Fort Desoto, the waterfront campground at the southern tip of Pinellas County. It worked out well, with fishing, bicycle riding, beach play, and sunset dining the daily feature.
