Our tides are a big deal here in Florida, and can dictate what kind of fishing results you can expect. Yes, as a boat captain we look at this, even though the water level typically only goes one or two feet in either direction. During the deep summer this can be stronger and higher, with the winter being just the opposite. High tide is a fishing person's friend, which is why this matters.
